Hi Everyone,

Following on from our successful World Cup competition the committee has decided to run another competition during the English Premier League.

This will be open to members and their family and friends. All with the aim of a bit of fun and interest as well as raising funds for the club.

The competition is called Last Man Standing (LMS) and is a game where, each week, players pick a team from the English Premier League. If that team wins the player goes through to the next week. If the team draws or loses, then the player is out. Players cannot pick a team more than once during the competition. Full rules of the competition are attached

The entry fee is £10 per player and the funds raised will be split 50/50 between the winner and the club. This could raise several hundred pounds for the club. One example is a local club running this game has around 80 players which means the winner will get £400 and raising £400 for the club

If you wish to enter please send an email to lms@banktonmains.co.uk saying you wish to enter and your name. You must email your first team selection by 11am on Friday 21st August when the English Premier League starts. Payments must also have been received before this time and date, otherwise you won't be able to take part.

We will be advertising this game to all so please get involved and help support the club. The more that play the greater the prize money.
